The Evans Hydraulic Glass Standard Tom Pack 12" 13" 16" is ideal for recreating that classic 70s tone. The fat short and deep snare tone from the Hydraulic head works without any extras. A thin layer of oil between the two 7mil films supress overtones and control the sustain in a musical way. Famously robust in their holding of tuning this head is ideal for drums that struggle to stay in tune or those with little experience in tuning. It also looks as impressive as it sound glass finish finishes any kit!Translucent films add focus to the tone complimenting the warmth so that it still cuts through a mix.
