Cherry Audio PS-3300

The Cherry Audio PS 3300 is an impeccable virtual analog emulation of Korgs legendary semi modular analog polyphonic synthesizer originally released in 1977. Cherry Audio has spared no effort in faithfully recreating and modernizing this mythical synth capturing its colossal stacked sonic character and signature multiple resonator sweeps as well as its impressive patching capabilities that made it stand out from other polysynths of its time. The PS 3300 boasts a distinctive architecture that sets it apart from its competitors. With three independent "signal generator" panels it essentially functions as three complete polyphonic synthesizers. Each panel includes 12 individual tunable divide down oscillator banks accompanied by discrete voltage controlled filters VCFs envelope generators and VCAs for each note. This allows for simultaneous playability of all 48 keys on the external keyboard each with independent articulation. Additionally dual LFOs and triple voltage controllable resonators per generator help shape its unique signature tone. The dedicated master panel offered a mixer with VCAs for each voice panel sample & hold an extra envelope generator and two control voltage processors. The synth also harnesses an impressive array of 67 front panel inputoutput jacks providing extensive modulation possibilities.
