The Cherry Audio Trident MK III is a plugin emulation of two vintage synthesizers from the 1980s the Trident MKI and Trident MKII. Not only does Trident MK III emulate the authentic sound it exponentially enhances the functionality with digital upgrades combining their iconic multitimbral design with significant upgrades. Each section from the Synth Brass and Strings features up to 16 voices allowing for deep layered textures. With added velocity sensitivity channel and polyphonic aftertouch the Trident MK III opens up a far more expressive playing experience than the original hardware. The all new lower panel sections make it easier than ever to customise performance setups. The Motion panel offers drag and drop zones and one click templates for building splits and layers across sections. A dual arpeggiator and 16x2 step sequencer bring added rhythmic control while 17 studio grade effects like BBD flanger ring mod and Lushverb can be stacked routed and reused in flexible chains with up to four plugins simultaneously.
