Its 7 ply mahogany shells produce a warm focused sound with a rounded low end that works well across jazz funk pop and lighter rock styles. A 30 degree bearing edge helps each drum respond smoothly keeping the tone controlled while allowing the shells to resonate naturally. Gretsch heads made by Remo arrive fitted to the kit giving you a dependable starting point for tuning and performance straight away.
