The Ludwig Universal 14 x 8 Brass Snare Drum is modelled after Ludwigs famous Black Beauty range emphasising optimal response sensitivity and dark warm tones. The Universal Brass Snare Drum features a 1mm brass shell to deliver a rich dynamic range suitable for various tuning ranges and head combinations. This shell is fitted with die cast hoops. These hoops offer a sharper attack and cut in more aggressive playing styles with a loud crisp and clear rimshot and cross stick sound.
