ART SLA 2 - 200W Studio Power Amplifier

The ART SLA 2 is a true linear amplifier ideal for powering passive speakers. Featuring Euroblock connectors as well as two XLR and TRS inputs and binding post outputs you can choose to bridge channels one and two. This allows you to enter either stereo mode or bridged mono amplifier mode that delivers the full power in a single 8 Ohm load. Safe from short circuits and overloading the SLA 2 features an ultrasonic network that decouples the RF from the output. Even with low impedance the SLA 2 is stable supporting 4 Ohm loads. Linear amplifiers require a considerable amount of power to operate because of this they generate heat that can lead to problems. The SLA 2 utilises a SmartFan cooling system that measures its ambient temperature and adjusts itself accordingly to lower it to an optimal operating temperature. On the front of the SLA 2 are two pop up gain knobs that you can use to attenuate the level of each channel you can cover these with an included anti tamper faceplate once tuned to your equipment.
