Produced in extremely limited numbers it combines iconic musical heritage with the authentic spring reverb character that Surfy Industries is known for. At its core the SurfyBear Compact faithfully recreates the sound and behaviour of the classic 1962 standalone spring reverb units that defined surf music. Instead of digital modelling the circuit uses JFET transistor technology paired with a real Accutronics Type 8 spring reverb pan delivering the unmistakable splashy drippy character that players expect from traditional surf reverb.
