The neck is also constructed from maple enhancing the tone with plenty of bite and twang; paired with a pau ferro fingerboard that brings out a softer side in the sound. On the board you can find a pair of NYTNYR pickups these will guarantee a clear and focused tone that accentuates the natural voice of the maple construction wood. Each pickup has its own volume control and there is also a tone control knob that sits on the pearloid control plate.       Unfortunately I can only give this three stars, but not because of any issue with the seller. Its purely when I got the bass i found the jack wound insert into the hole and found it was caused by a minor design flaw but very easy fix. Its a lovely unit and I feel bad giving it a three rating but as it came faulty and I had to fix it when it arrived i felt it was the only choice. I have heard a small few have the same issue.
