It features a poplar body in a 79 Burst finish paired with a dark tinted maple neck and unlined rosewood fretboard for expressive slides and warm singing sustain. The asymmetric neck carve offers exceptional comfort transitioning from a V to C shape just like Pinos original bass. Under the hood a custom passive pickup built to a late 70s recipe pairs with a specially voiced 2 band active preamp complete with Pinos preferred 500k treble pot.
