Review by cozmos on October 3, 2017I have previously had and returned an original sd1 but this one ain’t going anywhere. I use this to push my dirt channel on my friedman and it sounds very good. The first thing I notice was how quiet it was compared to the sd1. It’s also got more gain if needed. It’s a lot smoother and cleaner for boosting and an amp. Is it worth the extra money. For me the answer was yes. I’ve had a tube screamer and a few others but this is the one I’m keeping. And it’s boss so it’s built like a tank.
