The NUX NDS 2 Brownie Distortion recreates the iconic British dirt tones of the 70s and packs it into a single compact pedal. Utilising a unique hybrid of circuits allows this innovative device to create natural warm distortion that accurately replicates the breakup of a valve amplifier. Asymmetrical clipping generates additional harmonic content and lends a gritty edge to the tone. Combining an op amp and 2 LEDs in the clipping circuit helps deliver distortion versatility to do smooth saturation as accurately as pure crunch. A clever inclusion is the low pass tone control filter which simulates the Variac effect nicely rounding off your tone.
