The boost side gives you quick control over level and overall brightness helping you match guitars lift solos tighten high gain amps or add clarity before the rest of your signal chain. Its Tilt EQ is roughly neutral around 2 oclock with clockwise and counter clockwise moves reshaping bass and treble together while the three position Tight switch adjusts the low end independently.
