The Synergy Engl Powerball Preamp Module is built for players who want powerful gain structures with detailed control across a wide range of aggressive styles. Designed with Horst Langer of Engl Amplification it brings the recognised precision of the Powerball amplifier into a compact module suited to studio and stage setups. Each channel features its own gain volume and full EQ section supported by Gain Lo or Hi and Mid Boost switches that allow you to adjust saturation and note definition with accuracy. The Cathode Select switch adapts the input behaviour to match distinct voicing styles and the Dual or Single switch ensures compatibility with both modern Synergy docks and earlier Egnater or Randall hardware.
