You can mix and match Jargar Superiors with other types of strings to fine tune and customise your sound to precisely how you want it to be.Jargar began in 1956 after years of experimentation by Danish cellist Jarl Hansen. Hansen wanted more from his cello than the gut strings he was using could provide. Hansen developed a string with a core of steel and wound with pure or alloyed metal. Like many other string makers Hansen realised that steel cores offered far greater stability durability and stronger tone than gut.
