Its carved spruce front is paired with a carved flamed maple back sides and ribs with inside mould construction helping achieve accurate body assembly and fine detail. The instrument is completed with Stentors Shellax varnish a finish the company has developed over many years.Ebony is used for the fingerboard pegs nut and saddle while a composite tailpiece with integral adjusters makes fine tuning straightforward.
