Hohner Marine Band Thunderbird Harmonica Low D

The Hohner Marine Band Thunderbird Harmonica is the lowest pitched harp in the Marine Band family. Pitched an octave lower than the standard harmonica will provide an excellent complementary sound to guitar bass and drums. The bottom cover is asymmetrical to prevent unwanted noises by allowing room for the lower draw reeds to vibrate freely without hitting the cover plate and specially designed reed profiles provide the same responsiveness you would expect on higher pitched harps. This harmonica is assembled with screws allowing easy access to the insides for maintenance. Reinforced cover plates with side vents and an open back produce that classic blues sound with extra volume and stability. The bamboo comb is triple layered layered with the third being an UltraGlide coating ensuring a smooth playing experience with no chance of swelling.
