The Meinl Artisan Edition Cantina Line Cajon features adjustable strings and an extra thick wooden sound port ring for bass compression. This ensures a wide dynamic range of highs and lows. Its two sets of six micro coiled metal strings produce a snapping snare effect and are adjustable with the included tuning key. These strings are hand wound in the style of master cajon builder Jose Pepote Hernandez Diaz and respond with the utmost sensitivity during performance. The Cajons tremendous resonance is thanks to the body of 9 ply 12mm thick Baltic Birch wood offering full punchy tones that project with clarity and true warmth.
