The Meinl Floatune Series Conga 11 Inch is constructed from two plies of rubberwood to offer high quality authentic tones and a stunning aesthetic. The Floatune Conga incorporates the Meinl Floatune system which allows for a greater resonance and tonality. In addition to this the mounting hardware is isolated from the shell as opposed to conventional methods such as drilling which reduces resonance. By applying new techniques to the manufacturing process Meinl succeeded in giving their Floatune series a unique sound.
