This combination is an excellent add on for any Cajon set up. The sound produced from the Meinl Brush Cajon Beater is a light bass sound with a hint of a crispycrackle sound from the brushes. This sound is perfect for softer acoustic music where the normal bass sound of the Cajon may be slightly too prominent. The Meinl Brush Cajon Beater has two adjustable control rings which customises the feel of the beater on your foot as well as the response of the beater. If you tighten the rings the Pedal will be lower and the brush will sit closer to the Cajon for a quicker response. If you loosen the rings then the brushes will angle back more and will swing forward with more force making the bass sound louder.
