The Arturia BeatStep offers a range of functionality and is capable of triggering clips in Ableton Live playing drums and tweaking synth parameters all at the same time. As well as being a 16 pad controller the BeatStep also works as a 16 step analog sequencer. The 16 encoders can be assigned to adjust various parameters allowing for further real time control during performances. Rating Great fun for very little money
Review by Mr Allthegear Noidea on February 8, 2016This is a good starting point for people like me new to music production and wanting to have the feel of analogue and not just clicking a mouse. I have used it on the Korg Volca keys and bass but currently have it connected to my UltraNova.
Very good fun but will be upgrading to the Pro as I have read that it has better connectivity. -
