The Roland Boutique JD 08 Sound Module breathes new life into a classic the JD 800. The JD 08 takes the design and sound of the JD 800 and houses it within this compact and portable sound module. From bottom to top the module behaves and sounds like the original JD 800 thanks to advanced sound modelling Roland has authentically replicated the classic sound. The JD 800 played a major part in the 90s EDM scene with many iconic tracks being produced using this synth. A sound designers dream; the JD 08 features all 108 original waveforms complete with the original 64 presets and an additional 21 new presets! The two part 65 step polyphonic sequencer features a motion recorder a random pattern generator and enough memory to store up to 128 patterns. It also features an onboard arpeggiator to create melodic rhythms. Whilst staying true to the original the JD 08 features a range of upgrades including expanded polyphony and an integrated USB C audioMIDI interface. The original JD 800s unique two stage multi effects section has been meticulously recreated as well as offering a four part structure for advanced tone layering.
