The Cherry Audio KR 55C is a software recreation of the Korg KR 55A and KR 55B drum machines offering vintage rhythms with modern flexibility. It includes all 240 original factory patterns plus 200 additional kits and rhythms for expanded genre coverage. With a step based sequencing interface real time step entry and song mode for chaining up to 99 patterns KR 55C makes beat creation intuitive. Unlike the original hardware all sounds are independently addressable in user pattern mode giving complete control over every rhythm element. Each instrument features adjustable tuning decay EQ and tone controls allowing for precise sound shaping. The mixer panel offers independent level pan mute and solo functions while the effects routing matrix makes it easy to apply overdrive flangerchorus delay and reverb to individual sounds. A global compressor and bus limiter add final polish keeping levels balanced and enhancing the overall mix.
