The Patrick Carney SSD and Trigger 2 EXP is a drum sample pack expansion for Steven Slate Drums products recorded by Black Keys drummer Patrick Carney. Boasting a classic inspired sound Patrick Carney has utilised over 24000 dollars worth of rare vintage instruments recorded with one of a kind microphones through classic hardware to deliver a sound thats full of character and vibe. Ideal for a wide range of genres where a more rounded feel is required the Patrick Carney EXP is suitable for rock indie blues pop or even jazz styles and with both raw and processed samples recorded through a 60s EMT style plate reverb you can either mix from scratch or fit right into the mix. There are four kicks four snares and 16 toms available in both the Trigger 2 and SSD versions with four hi hats 20 crashes and four rides being available in the SSD version only. Recorded with meticulous attention to detail Patrick has chosen a selection from his 61 Round Badge Gretsch to the edgy 70s Ludwig Vistalite kits with an array of complementing cymbals to complete the kits. Recorded in Patricks private studio in Nashville this expansion is there when you need the honest sound of boutique vintage instruments in your mix.
